The EM-650 SHW includes a stand on wheels with a fixed feed table for easy feeding of the wide format print and lockable wheels for safety and flexibility. An easy to use control panel includes multiple language support.

The EM-650 SHW has an impressive laminating speed of 5m/16ft a minute, and accepts up to 15mm/0.5″ mounting thickness. The large roller cores deliver even and precise pressure, and the magic eye safety feature prevents the rollers from moving when interrupted. For controlled operation, a variable speed control and a foot pedal is included, as well as a handy reverse mode and an emergency stop button. The foot pedal means hands-free accelerating of laminating and mounting, and the reverse mode prevents potential jams.

The EM-650 SHW features an optional release liner take-up, ideal for single banners or reel-to-reel laminating up to 50 meters or 196 feet, ideal for longer runs.

SPECIFICATIONS

The Easymount Single Hot EM-650 SHW wide format laminating system has a laminating speed of up to 5m/16ft per minute and is able to mount to boards up to 15mm/0.6″ thick. The EM-650 SHW has a warm-up time of ten minutes, and has a laminating temperature range of 0 -130ºC. The two high-quality, large diameter silicon rollers deliver even pressure and are adjustable for different thicknesses up to 15mm/0.6 inch. The EM-650 SHW has a patented manual pressure gauge handle located at the side of the laminating system, that ensures you choose the correct setting every time, quickly and easily. The roller diameter is 65mm/2.5 inches and the film core is 77mm/3 inches.

The Easymount Single Hot EM-650 SHW wide format laminating system handles a full range of cold pressure and thermal laminates including matte, gloss, soft touch, sandtex and anti-graffiti. The EM-650 SHW is compatible with Vivid Laminating Technologies own brand, BOSS range of cold and thermal laminating films suitable for aqueous and solvent-based inkjet print, as well as fast-curing types such as UV and HP Latex. BOSS media includes mounting films, pressure sensitive laminating films (gloss, ‘crystal’ matte, satin matte, flat matte in 80 and/or 100 micron) 100 micron UV pressure sensitive over laminates (gloss and crystal matte), Sandtex pressure sensitive film and release paper (Sandtex 150 micron, Glitter finish 220 micron) and Anti-Graffiti laminating films (Dry Wipe (UV) and Anti-Graffiti (UV) Outdoor).
