KIP 71 Series feature KIP’s High Definition Print (HDP) Technology, a green technology that is 100% toner efficient, reducing the cost of printing.   The KIP 71 Series features fast, uninterrupted printing at rated engine speed for all image types, regardless of file complexity or image cover.  Delivering 2400 x 600 dpi resolution, the KIP 71 Series prints 6 x A1 prints per minute and 360 prints per hour in monochrome or black and white.

KIP Electrophotography (LED) toner technology with organic photoconductor (OPC) and closed toner system produce high quality durable prints.

The KIP 71 Series accepts 3-inch core plain paper media rolls x 2 with a thickness range of 65 to 160 gsm. The output size width is 420, 594, 841 and- 914 mm and the maximum print length for roll paper is 6 meters, extendable to 25 m based on media type.

KIP System K Software provides seamless control of black and white and colour files.  It provides a single software platform with cloud solutions, print system management, advanced security, automated workflow management and continuous enhancement of features and functions.

KIP Multi-Touch Solutions which enables copy and scanto local, USB, LAN, and Cloud destinations, and print from local, USB, LAN, and Cloud sources.  KIP SmartPrint supports printing from Windows, IOS, Android, Linux and Mac systems from a computer, laptop, smart phone or tablet.

KIP ImagePro enables fast and easy print control and integrated with all KIP black and white and colour systems.  KIP ImagePro provides job creation, image capture and reproduction for all print, scan, and copy environments. Instantly see printer or scanner status, zoom in or out on any image for intense detail or accurately view settings prior to printing. Image Clean-Up easily cleans up the background and Automatic Deskew makes scanning easy and effortless with the KIP 71 Series MFP.  Boost black lines during the scanning or printing is also available.  Superview with Area of Interest enables proofing before printing, including sizing or crop tools to quickly select only what you want. KIP ImagePro includes professional colour managment tools for colour management and quick spot colour changes for colour scanning. Step and Repeat, Image Nesting reduces media waste, panel by size or use the convenient automatic panneling feature to create wall size banners and poster fast. Reposition Tools and Enable Important Features enables column logic and the ability to edit large job sets with cut and paste.  KIP job information shows productivity at a glance with a summary of pages,  image count, estimated print time, identify and correct issues prior to printing.  Renaming files is simple and efficient. Printer and scanner information is on the dashboard for instant status information.

The optional KIP Accounting and Cost Centre consolidates control of user data and printing rules for all Copy, Print and Scan activities. KIP Accounting includes (RBAC) Role Based Access Control for a smarter way to apply rules for specific user accessibility assigned by the system administrator. The KIP Cost Centre application retrieves extensive log files directly from KIP Systems and automatically generates production reports for user, project and department level accounting data.

The KIP Windows driver enables printing directly from Windows and the KIP AutoCAD driver enables printing directly from AutoDesk.
