The Classic Wooden Plan Chest is a clean and modern way to store paper, plans or drawings. This type of plan chest combines elegance with practicality to create a useful piece of furniture suitable for any office, studio or classroom.
They are available for A0 or A1 paper sizes and in a 6, 9 or 12 drawer configuration. Built to order, they are sent fully assembled directly from the factory in Yorkshire.
KEY FEATURES
With sleek modern lines, the Classic plan chest is the perfect way to store A0 or A1 plans or drawings in a your office or home studio. The Classic Plan Chest is is a beautifully practical piece of furniture, available in a grey textured, warm natural light oak, brilliant beech or modern maple finish.
Designed for large capacity storage of A0 paper or A1 paper, it has been designed from the ground up withstand even the toughest students and classrooms.
The Classic Plan Chest features silver finish metal bow handles a welded steel plinth which provides a premium look and feel.
With 68mm deep drawers which run on easy-glide runners, the Classic Plan Chest is able to be modified with locking castors and lockable drawers – making it easier when moving it around in changeable studio or office environments. Available in 6, 9, or 12 drawer configurations in either A1 or A0 sizes.

Choose your finish
Choose your finish, available in a textured light grey,or a brilliant modern maple grain,or a fantastic rich beech grain, or a warm light oak. Combined with silver finish metal bow handles and the welded steel plinth, the Classic Plan Chest provides a premium look and feel.
Need extra security?
The drawers can also be fitted with individual locks. Keys can be suited to a single master, or with unique keys for each drawer. Contact us for further information.

If you are looking for a plan chest which can be easily moved around your office or studio, then the heavy duty locking castors are the ideal solution.
FAQ's
Is any assembly required?
No. Classic wooden plan chests are fully assembled. However they do split apart for easily installation.
Are metal plan chests much stronger?
All our plan chests are built to be ‘student proof’ and come with a lifetime warranty. However, if maximum robustness is key then a metal plan chest like the Jackie metal plan chest may be more suitable.
Can you deliver and install?
Yes. We will gladly quote you for full delivery and installation by our professional team.
Are the drawers removable?
Yes. The Classic style plan chest allows drawers to be fully removed from the front.
