The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 is a stylish, compact desktop printer with a footprint of 968 x 533 x 245 mm.  The print resolution is 2400 x 1200 dpi and can print a variety of sizes up to 24″/A1 or in two parts, AO.  The 4 colour pigment inks include black, cyan, magenta and yellow, and are available in 70 ml.  The print speed for an A1 plain paper black and white CAD drawing is 30 seconds, colour CAD drawing is 1 minute.  A1 posters on plain paper in draft mode print in 1:01, and standard mode in 1:51. A1 posters on coated paper print in draft mode in 2:42, and standard mode in 4:23.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 is easy to operate: ink refills, paper loading and maintenance are all accessible from the front.  The built-in large capacity ink tanks are easily accessible from the front side of the printer, and can be refilled without dirtying hands or clothing.  The shaft-less roll holder makes roll paper loading effortless, and reduces the amount of space needed for the printer.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 has a streamlined and simple paper loading process.  A built-in Auto Sheet Feeder delivers continuous printing between roll paper and cut sheets (A4 x 100 sheets or A3 x 50 sheets and even A6 paper and envelopes). The built-in Auto Sheet Feeder can hold A4 and A3 size sheets, label sheets, envelopes, postcards, and other various sizes of cut paper. This flexibility allows you to print the same design in various sizes for different applications.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 includes Direct Print Plus, and integrated software for hybrid support so switching between office and home printing is easy.  Multiple files in different formats can be input at a time without the need to launch applications for each file.  Files can be printed directly with the flexibility to print A3 size drawings for checking, either at home or at the office.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 delivers comparable crisp lines to higher end models.  The pigment ink has excellent water resistance, meaning drawings and prints are easier to handle outside and less likely to smudge when using a highlighter.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 has an EPEAT Gold rating, made with about 40% recycled plastic, about 5% recycled metal, with no EPS packaging and low energy consumption, helping users meet sustainability goals. The approximate energy consumption when in operation is 28W, and in the sleep mode, 2.3W.

Optional items available for the Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21  include an A1 Basket for receiving A1 prints and a Printer Stand with basket. Additionally, PosterArtist software is a free app available via the Web and is ideal for easily making vivid posters, with an abundance of editable templates for posters and flyers.
